Photogrammetry is a procedure by which we obtain 3D digital twins of objects from 2D photographs. Its advantages are high accuracy, texture quality and versatility. With the help of UAVs (Drones), we can make digital twin models of large areas and terrains. A higher form of use is the connection of lidar scanning with photogrammetry, where the best of both directions come together.
